A semi - fortified house located on the banks of the River Shannon.  Erected in the early 17th Century, by the fourth Earl of Clanricarde Richard Burke.

The beautiful walled Kitchen Garden and the ladies Rose garden are worth a stroll especially in the summer months when both gardens are awash with fragrance and color.
