Working in professional-quality graphite pencils, I create detailed, hand-drawn portraits from your favourite photographs. Whether you are celebrating a loved one, commemorating a special occasion or looking for a unique and meaningful gift, each portrait is created with care, precision and attention to every detail.
Every artwork is individually drawn by hand, making each commission a truly original piece of art that can be treasured for years to come.
How to Commission Your Portrait
Commissioning a portrait is simple.
All I need to get started is:
- A clear, high-resolution reference photograph.
- Any information you would like me to know about the subject.
- Details of any particular features or expressions you would like emphasised.

Choosing the Right Photograph
The quality of the finished portrait depends greatly on the quality of the reference photograph.
For the best results I recommend:
- A sharp, high-resolution image.
- Good natural lighting.
- Clear facial features and eyes.
- Avoiding heavily filtered or blurry photographs where possible.
If several photographs are available, I am happy to help you choose the most suitable one.
The Commission Process
Every portrait is created with care and attention to detail.
- A clear reference photograph is required before work begins.
- If required, a digital preview can be provided before completion, allowing for minor amendments where appropriate.
- Most portraits are completed within approximately one week, although larger or more detailed commissions may require additional time.
- If your portrait is required for a birthday, anniversary, wedding, retirement, memorial or another special occasion, please let me know when booking and I will always do my very best to meet your deadline.

Guide prices for graphite portrait commissions are:
A4
- One subject – €180
- Two subjects – from €220
A3
- One subject – €250
- Two subjects – from €300
A2
- Prices available on request.
Additional subjects, detailed backgrounds and bespoke commissions can be quoted individually.
