Caernarfon Castle, Gwynedd, North West Wales. Pen and Watercolor Original Painting.
Family holidays don't get much better, than a ferry crossing with all the family including our beloved pooches. Wales has always been and will always be our favorite family holiday destination, Scotland is not too far behind despite the drive.
Off course castles feature a lot in our family vacations and this massive structure was a delight to explore. It was a motte and bailey castle from the 11th century until 1283 when King Edward I of England decided to replace it with this current stone structure.
This painting measures 12" x 10" and is framed.
