Explore the architectural splendor of the Galway Cathedral, officially known as the Cathedral of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven and St Nicholas, located in Galway. Erected in 1958 on the historic site of a former prison, the cathedral was completed in 1965, distinguishing itself as the last stone cathedral built in Europe.

The architectural design, crafted by John J. Robinson, is a tapestry of styles. The cathedral's dome and pillars are inspired by the Renaissance era, while other elements like the rose windows and mosaics pay homage to the wider tradition of Christian art.

Capturing this architectural marvel, the original artwork was skillfully created using pigment ink fine liner pens, watercolor pencils, and paint. Now available as a limited edition print, it's produced on Archival Hahnemuhle Fine Art paper with professional light-fast inks, ensuring the longevity and vibrancy of the artwork.

Each print is a unique piece of art, individually titled, numbered, and personally signed by the acclaimed artist, Bernice Cooke. The print is sold unmounted and unframed, giving collectors the freedom to display it according to their personal aesthetics.

To ensure the artwork's protection during transportation, it is securely rolled and shipped in a postal tube. While reference photos are provided, they are for illustrative purposes only and may not fully capture the nuances of the actual print.
