Redwood castle arises from the ashes or from the ruin it once was.  Now lovingly restored to its former glory.  It sits on the banks of the River Shannon in County Tipperary.  Built by the Normans around 1200AD and occupied by them until they were thrown off the lands and it was handed over to the Mac Aodhagáin family.

This painting measures 12" x 16" and it is framed.
